Project description
Originally launched with WordPress, Well Gesundheit AG required a sophisticated CMS to enhance content creation flexibility, improve editor usability, and support a multi-channel approach due to the newly introduced app, enabling centralized management of multiple channels. The original design was preserved, while individual components were specifically adapted to meet customer requirements. Through close coordination and continuous quality assurance, we efficiently implemented all requirements, completing the project on time and within the allocated budget.
Challenges
Flexible Headless CMS – just like WordPress
The migration from WordPress to the new Storyblok CMS had to be executed within a tight budget while ensuring that the flexibility of the new system was on par with WordPress. An intuitive backend configuration, precisely tailored to the needs of editors, was essential.
Language management, in particular, required a flexible approach, as not all content was available in every language—especially for news and media articles. Additionally, the parallel implementation placed significant demands on the client, who had to manage internal coordination and task execution alongside daily operations.
Our approach
Efficient solutions through close collaboration
To successfully implement the requirements, particularly the multi-channel approach, we chose the headless CMS from Storyblok. It stands out with its intuitive user interface, easy navigation, and visual editor, enabling editors to preview changes instantly and work more efficiently before publishing pages.
To stay within the tight budget, we made an exception by partially outsourcing testing to the client, an unconventional approach that proved effective. At the same time, we delegated specific development tasks to our team in Bhutan.
The existing layout was retained as requested to ensure design and content consistency. Through targeted, customized adjustments and our flexible approach, we were able to deliver an optimal solution despite budget constraints, perfectly tailored to our client’s needs.
